West-northwest, or
upgradient wind shed is composed mostly of agricultural production land including rice fields,
pasture, dairies and row crops. This wind direction, along with the fact that agrichemicals cannot /
be applied during windy conditions, ensure that the likelihood of impact to the property from
unintended pesticide drift is somewhat unlikely.
4. The following site specific information was obtained from direct observations and an
interview with Mrs. Sorrenti on November 21, 2006. A final inspection of the property was
conducted on November 16, 2006. There are no wells on the pr ty. No evidence of drug manufacturing or the dumpaof drug-related chemicals was
observed on any of the roads or levees surrounding the property acreage. Dumping of eighttires was
noted at the pavement edge of Steinegul Road and the property. It is recommended that these tires be
removed. Operations of the District ceased in
approximately 1994. Potential contamination is unknown. No electrical transformer exists on the
property; therefore there should be no threat from polychloride biphenyls (PCBs).
5
Chesney Consulting
