The Department has the following <br /> comments: <br /> • In the future, if the driveway is intended to serve 4 or more local development projects... the <br /> entrance to the parcels will have to meet Public Road connection standards as pelt Section <br /> 205 of the Highway Design Manual. ,Any existing or proposed driveways accessing the State <br /> right-of-way must meet State standards. <br /> • The Department will want to review site plans for any future project at this location when <br /> they become available. At that time additional comments will be provide by the Department <br /> regarding the impacts created by the additional proposed development. <br /> • An Encroachment Permit will be required for work done within the Department's right of <br /> way. This work is subject to the California Environmental Quality Act, Therefore, <br /> additional biological, archaeological,or other environmental studies may be required as part <br /> of the encroachment permits application. A qualified professional must conduct any such <br /> studies undertaken to satisfy the Department's environmental review responsibilities. <br /> Ground disturbing activities to the site prior to completion and/or approval of required <br /> environmental documents may affect the Department's ability to issue a permit for the <br /> project_ Furthermore,if engineering plans or drawings will be part of your permit <br /> application,they should be prepared in standard units. <br /> "Caltrans improves nzabilily across Cal jormla" <br />
