August 16, 2004 <br /> NOA Project Number: E04095A <br /> 3.1.6 Water Supply and Sewage Disposal System <br /> The EHD well and septic permit files were searched on August 9, 2004 in an effort to obtain <br /> L copies of permits for any water wells or septic tanks on the subject property. No permits were <br /> found for the subject property. This does not mean that wells and septic systems do not exist on <br /> the property, however. <br /> L <br /> 3.1.7 California Integrated Waste Management Board <br /> L The Solid Waste Information System(SWIS) database is maintained by the California Integrated <br /> Waste Management Board (CIWMB). The SWIS database contains an inventory of solid waste <br /> disposal facilities or landfills. These may be active or inactive facilities or open dumps that failed <br /> 6' to meet RCRA Section 2204 criteria for solid waste landfills or disposal sites. <br /> L The SWIS database was reviewed online on August 9,2004; the subject property did not appear <br /> on the SWIS database at this time. The SWIS database listed no sites within a one-quarter mile <br /> radius of the subject property. <br /> 3.1.8 Department of Oil, Gas, and Geothermal Resources <br /> L The California Department of Oil, Gas,and Geothermal Resources(DOGGR)wildcat map 610 <br /> was reviewed for evidence of oil or gas wells on or in the vicinity of the subject property. No <br /> wells are depicted on the subject property. Three plugged and abandoned dry holes were <br /> identified within one-quarter mile of the subject property. One of these, the W.W. Holmes <br /> `Brazos-Harden' 1-5, appears to be located just east of the eastern property line. A section of the <br /> well map is included in Appendix F. <br /> 3.1.9 Site Reconnaissance <br /> L <br /> A visual reconnaissance of the subject property was conducted on August 11,2004. Photographs <br /> of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. A site visit/assessment <br /> 6. checklist is attached to this report as Appendix D. <br /> The subject property was observed to be a roughly square parcel whose northern boundary is <br /> defined by Sycamore Slough. Three field roads with irrigation canals on either side cross the <br /> property,and a levee road runs along the northern boundary of the property. At the time of the <br /> 6. site visit,corn and sugar beets were being grown on the main portion of the property,and a small <br /> vineyard was located at the north. Evidence of chemical weed kill was observed along the field <br /> roads and in the area surrounding the labor camp. <br /> 10 <br />
