Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Dear Ms. Mueller: <br /> Caltrans has reviewed the above Application PA-0200405 to construct a "self store" boat <br /> storage facility in three phases, for a total of 84,640 square feet, on the northeast corner of <br /> Glasscock Road and State Route (SR) 12, west of Lodi. Caltrans requires the following <br /> to assess the project's potential impacts to SR 12: <br /> 1. A complete set of drainage and grading plans to fully assess the effects of the <br /> proposed project. <br /> 2. Existing and Existing Plus Project volumes for AM and PM peak and weekend peak <br /> periods. <br /> 3. Site plans showing the existing lane geometries from the site's entrance driveway to <br /> the intersection of SR 12 and Glasscock Road. <br /> 4. If improvements are needed as a result of this proposal, an Encroachment Pennit will <br /> be required from Caltrans. The environmental document prepared for the project that <br /> includes Caltrans right-of-way must be submitted with the Encroachment Permit <br /> application. Caltrans also requires documentation that cultural (archaeological), <br /> biological, and hazardous waste surveys have been conducted within Caltrans right- <br /> of- way. <br /> For cultural surveys a recent record search from the information center and an <br /> Archaeological Survey Report are required. <br /> A Natural Environment Study report shall be written documenting the results of <br /> biological surveys and the record search from the California Department of Fish and <br /> Game Natural Diversity Database. A qualified biologist should conduct surveys at the <br /> appropriate time of year to detennine if listed plant or animal species or wetlands occur in <br /> the area.
