4
1
I -
Soil Profile And Percolation Tests Sheet 4 of 4
3
f
i
On March 6 and 7 , 1991 three percolation tests were
performed on the above referenced property under my
idirection in conformance with San Joaquin County
Ordinance No . 549 . The approximate location of the
test holes are shown on the attached "Parcel Map
Percolation Test Hole No . 2 is the only required
test hole but an analysis of Percolation Test Hole
Nos . 1 and 3 are herein included for information
and research purposes on the attached sheet
entitled "Calculation Sheet" .
Percolation Test Hole Nos . 2 , 1 & 3 resulted in
percolation rates of 26 . 7 minutes per inch , 12 . 0
minutes per inch and 120 . 0 minutes per inch ,
respectively as determined on the attached Field
Note sheets .
kWell Water Analysis :
Well water testing was not performed since there
are no wells on the existing property .
Engineers Statement :
I
The percolation rate of 26 . 7 minutes per inch
determined for Test Hole INo . 2 establishes the
need for a 10 ,000 sq . ft . minimum usable leach
t field area . A leach field facility can be safely
installed to the density proposed without
impacting ground water or causing health problems
in the future .
L .
Walter E .
