Gau, Senior Civil Engineer x
Development Services/Engineering Division
SUBJECT: MINOR SUBDIVISION NO. MS-93-105 OF ERNEST BEZLEY
(C/O MONTE SEIBEL) (SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT 4)
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The following is a brief chronology of this application:
January 6, 1994 Continued to February 3 , 1994, at the request
of the applicant, to obtain additional
information.
February 3 , 1994 Continued to February 17, 1994, at the
request of the applicant.
February 17, 1994 Staff Report was entered into the record. A
request to change the Minor Subdivision to a
Major Subdivision by adding lots was deemed
denied due to lack of an action by the
Commission. The Minor Subdivision was
continued to May 19, 1994 .
March 22 , 1994 The Board of Supervisors denied, on appeal,
the request to modify the Minor Subdivision
to a Major Subdivision (R-94-160 attached) .
This site contains two significant ponds. The proposed lots are
located on the north bank of the larger pond. In a letter dated
April 8 , 1994 , (attached) the Department of Fish and Game
recommended that the project' s aquatic ecosystem impacts be
mitigated by establishing a 100-foot setback around the ponds.
The setback is to commence from the outside edge of
wetland/riparian vegetation or bank/bed, whichever is greater.
No waste disposal or vegetable removal is to be permitted within
the buffer.
-7-
