PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION
I
A percolation soil suitability test was preformed on the site under SJCEHD permit No. SR0056874
on one four-inch diameter soil boring established to a depth of three and one-half feet bsg.
6.1. SITE MAP
t
i
See Section 5.1. for a discussion of the site map.
6.2. NUMBER OF PERCOLATION TESTS PERFORMED
I
One percolation test was conducted on site. The gradual percolation water in the test hole required
performance of a four-hour percolation test.
6.3. CONSTRUCTION OF PERCOLATION TEST HOLE
On 30 March 2009,one test hole(TH-1)was advanced for a shallow percolation test. The test hole i
was advanced using a four-inch diameter hand auger to a depth of 42-inches bsg. The boring was
located more than 100 feet from the current well location and within 100 feet of the proposed septic
system location. Following bore hole advancement, the sides of the boring were scraped and loose
material was removed from the bore hole. Once the test hole was cleared of loose material, two
inches of gravel were added from the bottom to approximately 40 inches bsg.The test hole was then
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
