State Route Hwy 12,"Lodi,"California(Plate 1). <br /> The,Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study was-conducted to determine if the-area is - <br /> suitable for a new septic system and .was performed according to the requirements of.Section 9-. <br /> I I05.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development: Major elements ofthe field work included <br /> one exploratorysoil boring, one iii-situ percolation test; and one groundwater nitrate and DBCP <br /> test. An examination of the field work results,,nitrate loading analysis, review of published soil <br /> information, geologic maps, and available-ground water information was used to evaluate the ' 1 <br /> suitability of soils and the otential impact of the septic system to-the y <br /> tY P : P P Y ground water.- Thisreport <br /> presents the results of our study. f <br /> II. PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT = _ <br /> The property is located on State Route Highway 12; about 0.8 miles west of Lower; <br /> Sacramento'Road'on the south-side of•the highway The lot size is 1.75 acres and is art of a <br /> �. P <br /> larger 80 acre parcel. The planned use for the site is to first establish anew winery facility <br /> followed by a visitor/tasting.room to be used at sortie later point- As part of.the County Use <br /> Permit, a purposed winery facility is required to remove the process waste within 48 hours.
