FLAG CITY TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT PARKING PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> USE PERMIT APPLICATION TO EXPAND AN EXISTING TRUCK TERMINAL <br /> AND PARKING OPERATION FROM 80 TRUCKS TO 110 TRUCKS AND A <br /> HEAVY EQUIPMENT STORAGE AREA. THE PROJECT WILL INCLUDE THE <br /> USE OF AN EXISTING 200 SQUARE FOOT COMMERCIAL COACH TO BE <br /> UTILIZED AS AN OFFICE. (USE TYPE: TRUCK SALES AND SERVICES - <br /> TERMINALS; -PARKING) <br /> THE PROJECT WILL OPERATE 24 HOURS, SEVEN DAYS A WEEK AND <br /> EMPLOY ONE INDIVIDUAL. THE PROJECT SITE IS CURRENTLY <br /> RESTRICTED TO THE NORTHERN TEN (10) ACRES OF A 23.5 ACRE <br /> PARCEL. THIS APPLICATION WILL EXPAND THE CURRENT OPERATION TO <br /> ENCOMPASS THE ENTIRE 23.5 ACRE PARCEL. <br /> A TRAFFIC OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS WAS CONDUCTED FOR THE <br /> PREVIOUS APPLICATION (PA-0700125) BY DKS ASSOCIATES AND A FINAL <br /> TRAFFIC OPERATIONS ANALYSIS REPORT WAS SUBMITTED TO THE <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS ON APRIL 24, 2008. THE ANALYSIS <br /> CONCLUDED THAT THE PREVIOUS PROJECT WOULD NOT RESULT IN ANY <br /> SIGNIFICANT TRANSPORTATION IMPACTS ALONG STATE ROUTE 12 OR <br /> ANY ADVERSE IMPACTS TO AREA-WIDE CIRCULATION OR NEARBY <br /> DRIVEWAYS. <br /> THE OPERATIONAL ANALYSIS CONCLUDED THAT THE FOLLOWING <br /> MITIGATION MEASURE BE INCLUDED AS A CONDITION OF APPROVAL: <br /> THE PARKING GATE SHOULD BE SET BACK A MINIMUM OF 87 FEET FROM <br /> ITS CURRENT PROPOSED LOCATION. <br /> NO OTHER CHANGES ARE REQUESTED WITH THIS APPLICATION EXCEPT <br /> AS MENTIONED ABOVE. <br />
