The first application (PA-0400620) is for <br /> a General Plan Map Amendment application to amend the General Plan designation of <br /> six parcels totaling 44.63 acres from General Agriculture (A/G) to Truck Terminal (I/T). <br /> The second application is for a Zone Reclassification to reclassify the zoning of the <br /> same 44.63 acres from General Agriculture 40-acre minimum (AG-40) to Truck Terminal <br /> (1-T). The project is located 2,800 feet east of Thornton Road, on the south side of west <br /> State Route Highway 12. <br /> The land is primarily flat with fallow agricultural land. The parcels to the south have a <br /> General Plan designation of General Agriculture (A/G). Parcels located east have a <br /> General Plan designation of (I/T) Truck Terminal. The parcels located to the west are <br /> located within Flag City and have a General Plan designation of Freeway Services <br /> Commercial. (C/FS). <br /> Approval Process <br /> In order to approve the General Plan Amendment (PA-0400620) the Board of <br /> Supervisors shall determine that the internal consistency of the General Plan is <br /> maintained in the adoption of the proposed General Plan Amendment (Development <br /> Title Section 9-803.4). In order to approve the Zone Reclassification (PA-0500025) the <br /> Board of Supervisors shall determine the following statements are true: <br /> (a) The proposed zone is consistent with the General Plan, any applicable Master <br /> Plan, and any applicable Specific Plan; and <br /> (b) The proposed zone district id reasonable and beneficial at the time (Development <br /> Title Section 9-812.4) <br /> I <br />
