PA-0400620 & ZONE RECLASSIFICATION PA-0500025 OF ALEGRE, FRANK C SR & H C TR ETAL (APN: 005-160-22; 23; 24; 25; 43 & 44) The project is a combination of two applications. The first application (PA-0400620) is for a General Plan Map Amendment application to amend the General Plan designation of six parcels totaling 44.63 acres from General Agriculture (A/G) to Truck Terminal (I/T). The second application is for a Zone Reclassification to reclassify the zoning of the same 44.63 acres from General Agriculture 40-acre minimum (AG-40) to Truck Terminal (1-T). The project is located 2,800 feet east of Thornton Road, on the south side of west State Route Highway 12. The land is primarily flat with fallow agricultural land. The parcels to the south have a General Plan designation of General Agriculture (A/G). Parcels located east have a General Plan designation of (I/T) Truck Terminal. The parcels located to the west are located within Flag City and have a General Plan designation of Freeway Services Commercial. (C/FS). Approval Process In order to approve the General Plan Amendment (PA-0400620) the Board of Supervisors shall determine that the internal consistency of the General Plan is maintained in the adoption of the proposed General Plan Amendment (Development Title Section 9-803.4). In order to approve the Zone Reclassification (PA-0500025) the Board of Supervisors shall determine the following statements are true: (a) The proposed zone is consistent with the General Plan, any applicable Master Plan, and any applicable Specific Plan; and (b) The proposed zone district id reasonable and beneficial at the time (Development Title Section 9-812.4) I
