_ August 31, 2004
NOA Project Number: E04060A
Page 16
8.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
A satisfactory percolation rate was achieved on each of the non-road parcels on the Site. The
soils are suitable for a standard septic system with leach lines. It does not seem likely that
sumps will be allowed based on consultation with regional ground water maps. The nitrate
loading balance was performed based on the assumptions used in this report and the
assumptions of the Hantzshe & Finnemore equation. The analysis indicates that uses
associated with the proposed project will not cause a long term buildup of nitrates above 10
mg/L-N in the ground water if an average daily flow of 6,600 gpd is not exceeded. Our
recommendations for the project are as follows:
Follow the San Joaquin County Sewage Standards where required.
9.0 LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions
proposed in accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices.
