GP-95-05 AND
ZONE RECLASSIFICATION APPLICATION NO. ZR-95-09 OF PEPSI-
COLA SAN JOAQUIN BOTTLING COMPANY (C/O RAYMOND S. PLOCK)
------------------------------------------------------------------
The proposal is a General Plan Map Amendment application to change
the General Plan designation on an eight-acre parcel from C/G
(General Commercial) to I/L (Limited Industrial) and to reclassify
the property from C-G to I-L. The project site is located at the
west terminus of Pepsi Place, west of Wilcox Road, east of
Stockton. The application proposes to continue using the existing
public services: sewage disposal and storm drainage from CSA No.
15, operated by the County Department of Public Works and water
from Cal Water. The applications are scheduled to be heard by the
Planning Commission on November 2, 1995.
The Development Services Division has reviewed the above-referenced
applications and developed a tentative recommendation of approval
for the Planning Commission. The recommendation is based upon the
project's consistency with the General Plan's "Growth Accommodation
Objectives, " "Policies, " and "Development and Locational Criteria"
for Limited Industrial development.
RL:ss
GP9505.DC2
