(3) A grading permit will be required for this project. Submit plans and grading calculations, including <br /> a statement of the estimated quantities of excavation and fill, prepared by a Registered Design <br /> Professional. The grading plan shall show the existing grade and finished grade in contour <br /> intervals of sufficient clarity to indicate the nature and extent of the work and show in detail that it <br /> complies with the requirements of the code. The plans shall show the existing grade on adjoining <br /> properties insufficient detail to identify how grade changes will conform to the requirements of the <br /> code. <br /> (4) A soils report is required pursuant to Section 1803 for foundations and appendix Section J104 for <br /> grading of the CBC. All recommendations of the Soils Report shall be incorporated into the <br /> construction drawings. <br /> (5) A demolition permit will be required for the structure(s)which is(are) proposed to be removed. <br /> (6) For each proposed building, provide the following information on the plans: <br /> (A) Description of proposed use <br /> (B) Existing and proposed occupancy Groups <br /> (C)Type of construction <br /> (D)Sprinklers(Yes or No <br /> (E) Number of stories <br /> (F) Building height <br /> (G)Allowable floor area <br /> (H) Proposed floor area <br /> (1)Occupant load based on the CBC <br /> (7) Accessible routes shall be provided per CBC Section 11 B-206.At least one accessible route shall <br /> be provided within the site from accessible parking spaces and accessible passenger loading <br /> zones; public streets and sidewalks; and public transportation stops to the accessible building or <br /> facility entrance they serve.Where more than one route is provided,all routes must be accessible. <br /> §11 B-206.2.1 <br /> At least one accessible route shall connect accessible buildings, accessible facilities, accessible <br /> elements, and accessible spaces that are on the same site. §11 B-206.2.2 <br /> At least one accessible route shall connect each story and mezzanine in multi-story buildings and <br /> facilities. §11B-206.2.3 <br /> At least one accessible route shall connect accessible building or facility entrances with all <br /> accessible spaces and elements within the building or facility, including mezzanines, which are <br /> otherwise connected by a circulation path. §11 B-206.2.4 <br /> (8) Parking spaces will be required to accommodate persons with disability in compliance with <br /> Chapter 11 B of the California Building Code, including van accessible spaces. These parking <br /> space(s)shall be located as close as possible to the primary entrance to the building. <br /> (9) Pursuant to Table 4-3 of the California Plumbing Code, toilet facilities shall be accessible to <br /> employees at all times, should not be more that 500 feet from where employees are regularly <br /> employed and accessible by not more than one flight of stairs.
