I. FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code <br /> requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal <br /> to the Community Development Departmentfor a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of public water mains(Appendix I 11-A <br /> of the Uniform Fire Code)or static water supply(NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code). <br /> (2) Fire hydrants shall be supplied in accordancewith Appendix III-B of the Uniform Fire Code. <br /> (3) Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code and <br /> the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and <br /> the California Electrical Code. <br /> (4) All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire sprinkler systems and water-flow <br /> switches shall be monitored in accordancewith Section 904.3.1 of the California Fire Code. <br /> (5) Fire department access roads shall be in accordancewith Section 902.2 of the California Fire <br /> Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> (6) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordancewith Section 902.4. A knox box(key <br /> box)shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (7) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code,Volume 2, Standard <br /> 10-1. <br /> (8) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property. (C.F.C. 105.2.1) <br /> 2. DEPARTMENTOF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> a. Any dedications,improvements,or permits for State Route 12 shall be as required by Caltrans. <br /> b. The Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee will be required for this development. The fee is due and payable <br /> at the time of Final Site Plan approval. The fee currently is$148.90 per daily trip-end generated in <br /> the Lodi area. The fee shall be automatically adjusted July 1 of each year by the Engineering <br /> Construction Cost Index as published by the Engineering News Record. A credit may be allowed for <br /> the previous use if it can be verified that it was in operation since April 23, 1990. (Resolution R-96- <br /> 592) <br /> c. A copy of the Final Site Plan shall be submitted prior to the release of building permits. <br /> d. Verification shall be obtained from the Solid Waste Division(468-3066)that this development has <br /> addressed the items on the attached Waste Plan Format for Development Projects. <br /> 3, PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES (Please see Memorandum dated May 26, 1999) <br /> a. Obtain discharge requirements from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board,Central <br /> Valley Region,prior to development and operation. (Water Code,Article 5, Section 13280) <br /> b. Refuse,garbage,and other solid waste materials must be stored,removed,and transported to an <br /> approved landfill in accordancewith San Joaquin County Ordinance Code Section 5-2400. <br /> c. If hazardous material is stored on the site,the applicant must registerwith the County Office of <br /> Emergency Services. <br /> Conditions of Approval -3- SA-99-41 <br />
