The Division monitors farmland conversion on a statewide basis and administers the California Land Conservation (Williamson) Act and other agricultural land conservation programs. We offer the following comments and recommendations with respect to the proposed project. Proiect Description The proposed lot line adjustments were submitted as three separate applications, for a combined total-of seven.adjusted parcel boundaries'. The lot line adjustments will occur on properties under a Williamson Act contract. The adjustments will create three homesite parcels that will no longer be- subject to the contract. Department Comments Based on the information provided in the application referrals, the Department requests that the findings ryuired in Government Code �.�•�/rGC\ § 51527 of the Land.Conservation Act be addressed in t: the staff report. The proposed LLA contains several areas of existing Williamson Act contracted land that will be reconfigured and reclassified as non-contracted land. In doing so, it is recommended that special attention be paid to GC § 51257(a)(2)-(4), (7), which hold special provisions for these types of modifications. The Department also recommends that the current contract be rescinded and simultaneously entered into new contract pursuant to GC § 51527.
