t <br /> E <br /> January 17, 2006 <br /> RNC PROJECT NUMBER 41204B Page 8 <br /> 3.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> I <br /> 3 <br /> 3.1 Location and Legal Description <br /> The subject property is identified on the Alliance Title Preliminary Reportz as 28251 <br /> E.Highway 26, Linden, California 95236. It is located in Section 22 and a portion of Section <br /> 27, T3N R9E. The Assessor's Parcel Numbers are 067-230-01 and 067-240-03. The property <br /> comprises approximately 912 acres. The boundaries of the property are defined by-the the ! /J <br /> f north side of Section 22; the west side of Sections 22 and a portion of 27; the east side of <br /> Section 22; and, to the south, Highway 26 and an unimproved fence line road. <br /> ks Reference is made to the location maps,the Alliance Title Pr <br /> in its entirety, <br /> and other pertinent descriptions and depictions of the subj ct pr pertnarypy�rt attached to this <br /> report in Appendix G as the describe e the subject property. <br /> Location maps and site maps of the subject property are attached to this report as �,3/l•�f, <br /> Appendix A. Photographs of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix <br /> B. <br /> , r <br /> 3.2 Site and Vicinity General Characteristics <br /> The subject property is situated in a rural portion of eastern San Joaquin County not far <br /> from the Calaveras County line. The area in general is sparsely populated. The <br /> topography ranges from level terrain to gently rolling hillsides to tall mesa's with relatively <br /> steep flanks. The subject property is bisected by at least two named creeks, and contains �J <br /> numerous other swales and intermittent watercourses. Surface soils and subsurface <br /> features are generally typical of the Mehrten Formation, thus the property has no <br /> rcommercial agricultural value for anything other than grazing land. <br /> 3.3 Current Use of the Property <br /> The current use of the property is reported as pasture. Visual observation confirms that <br /> the property is utilized as open rangeland for grazing cattle and horses.
