<br /> Mr. Nicholson's career in the Geotechnical Engineering /Materials Testing and

<br /> Inspection/Environmental Consulting industry spans 28 years. Until August of 2005, Mr.
<br /> Nicholson was continuously employed by the same firm, and then the purchaser of that firm. In
<br /> 1985,Mr Nicholson was tasked with establishing the"Environmental Division" within the parent
<br /> F firm. Initially a one-person office,the division grew under Mr. Nicholson's leadership into a major
<br /> contributor to the firm's growth and success. Since 1985, Mr. Nicholson has conducted and/or
<br /> supervised 500+ Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, 5-7 long term (project duration of 12
<br /> months or more) Phase 11 Environmental Site Assessments, and 20+ short term (project duration
<br /> of less than 3 months) Phase 11 Environmental Site Assessments. Additionally, Mr Nicholson has
<br /> planned, supervised, and participated in 30-35 site investigations under the auspices of the
<br /> California State Department of Education, and Iater under the direct oversight of the California
<br /> State Department of Toxic Substances Control,of existing or proposed elementary,middle and high
<br /> school sites throughout California.
<br /> FAs an adjunct to work in the field, Mr. Nicholson has performed hundred's of third party reviews
<br /> of environmental documents and reports for a nationwide Fannie Mae DUS Lender, provided
<br /> litigation support, expert testimony, and served on the national committee that promulgated the
<br /> r
<br /> ASTM E1527 Standards for environmental Site Assessments,
<br /> Mr. Nicholson's work throughout his career in interpreting and implementing standards,
<br /> F specifications, and regulations has proven a major contribution to the development of nationally
<br /> recognized report formats that meet or exceed all current standards for ASTM Phase I reporting,
<br /> Fannie Mae and other lender requirements,the State of California requirements set for by various
<br /> departments and agencies, and USEPA's "All Appropriate Inquiry" rules.
