This zoning designation"is established to preserve agricultural <br /> lands for the continuation of commercial agricultural enterprises." <br /> The elevation of the Site,according to a United States Geological Survey topographic map,Vernalis <br /> Quadrangles,is 90 to 100 feet above mean sea level. The subject property and vicinity slope to the <br /> southeast at a gradient of approximately 15 feet per mile. <br /> 1.2 Proposed Development <br /> LA tentative parcel map showing the proposed parcel division was provided by R.B. Welty and <br /> Associates; the parcel division is depicted on the site map in the appendix as Plate 2.
