Koster Rd. <br /> LThe file for George's Service was reviewed at the EHD on January 3, 2005. According to the most <br /> recent groundwater monitoring report, the wells closest to the subject property show non detections <br /> L or low level detections of total petroleum hydrocarbons,benzene,toluene,ethyl benzene,total xylenes, <br /> and MTBE(Geological Technics Inc.,2004). Excerpts from this report are included in Appendix F. <br /> Mr. Nuel Henderson,Jr.,Registered Geologist at the EHD,was contacted by telephone on June 29, <br /> } 2004, regarding the George's Service case. Mr. Henderson indicated that the George's Service case <br /> L involved soil contamination to 50 feet. He stated that he had plotted three water-bearing sands in the <br /> area, the upper two of which contain impacted water. The groundwater flow direction in the area is <br /> { north-northeast, he added. <br /> L Review of the file for New Jerusalem School in June of 2004 revealed a letter from the California <br /> L Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region, dated November 8, 1999. According <br /> to the letter,"no further action related to the underground storage tank release is required." This letter <br /> is included in Appendix F. <br /> LThe UST Program Facility lnwnteg by Facility Name,dated April 11,2001,was also searched at the EHD <br /> on December 29,2004 for the names of Jim and John Thoming. No records were found for the subject <br /> Lproperty. <br /> 3.1.3 San Joaquin County Office ofEmergency Services <br /> rr The San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services (OES)web site was searched on February 15, <br /> 2005 in an attempt to determine whether a hazardous materials inventory is on file for the subject <br /> property. No listings were found for the subject property under the name of Thoming. <br /> V <br /> According to Ms. Michelle Halliwell of the OES, one incident report is on file at that agency for <br /> L addresses within one-quarter mile of the subject property (personal communication,January 7,2005). <br /> This 2002 incident was located at 31244 Highway 33 and involved an unknown,white solid released to <br /> the ground. The incident report has been included in Appendix F of this report. <br /> LA review of the "Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge" files within one-quarter mile of the <br /> subject property was conducted on December 29, 2004.
