Chapter 6 of the RCMP describes the updated Land Use Analysis Program,
including Tier 1 and Tier 2 review/analysis requirements, analysis methods, impact significance
criteria,and mitigation.
SJCOG determined this project does not fall under Tier 2 Review;thus,no information is required
at this time.
AIRPORT LAND USE COMMISION'S REVIEW
This project is not located within any airport influence area,as found in 2018 San Joaquin County
and 2018 Stockton Metropolitan Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP)
(https://www.sicog.org/ALUC). The project does include agriculture-related services and is
within five miles of Lodi Airport. Construction of a crush pad, especially outdoors, has the
potential of attracting hazardous wildlife (i.e. birds). FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5200-33b
was referenced during the review of this project and found this project is located over 1000 feet
from the airport (AC 150/5300-13, Appendix 17). Thus; the project is not deemed a "Hazard to
Flight."
SJCOG recommends the project applicant contact the Lodi Airport and Caltrans Division of
Aeronautics for their assessment of the project.
SJCCIG would like to provide standards and project design conditions that comply with the Airport
Land Use Compatibility Plan as a reference guide. Note:Jurisdictions determine if the following
standards and conditions apply to this project.
1.
