SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
ATTENTION: LEANNE MEULLER
August 8, 2001
Page Two
3 . We have recently received notification that both the Ag
Well and the Domestic Well referenced in the northwest quadrant
of the attached Exhibit A have failed bacteriological testing for
Coliform. Obviously, this is disturbing given the applicants
request to significantly expand their existing dairy operation.
We intend to request appropriate monitoring through the Regional
Water Quality Control Board.
In closing, Mr. and Mrs . Coldani have owned the property
east of the applicant ' s site for approximately 40 years and have
lived there for approximately 22 years . I have communicated with
Steve Herum regarding these issues and intend to meet and confer
regarding same . Please provide distribution to our office of any
notices, hearings, meetings or decisions regarding your review
and processing of the above application. Thank you for the
opportunity to comment on this project .
Very truly yours,
HAKEEM, ELLIS & MARENGO
A Professional Corporation
mv—ck
By.
MICHAEL D.
