State law requires that land use within airport <br /> STOCKTON, areas of influence must conform to the Airport Land Use Plan. <br /> TRACY, <br /> AND <br /> THE COUNTY OF The location of the proposed Site Approval Application to expand an existing (APN/Address: <br /> SAN JOAQUIN 055-130-01; 13436 N. Thornton Road, Lodi) falls within the Conical Zone of the Kingdon and Lodi <br /> (Precissi)Airpark's Area of Influence. Few restrictions are necessary for projects that fall within this <br /> zone. However, all development on this land must adhere to the standards outlined in the 1993 amended <br /> Airport Land Use Plan. The standards pertinent to this zone includes, but are not limited,to the <br /> following: <br /> ➢ The use of non-reflective materials,transmissions, and visual distractions to pilots; <br /> ➢ Radio transmissions that would interfere with aircraft communications/navigation are not permitted; <br /> ➢ Residential uses are permitted if insulated to reduce interior noise to a level no higher than 45 dB; <br /> ➢ An Deed of Avigation and Hazard Easement is recorded in favor of the Airport Operator when new <br /> residential land use involves 5 or more units; and, <br /> ➢ Proposed schools that are to be located within a 2-mile radius of an airport must undergo a review by <br /> Caltrans Division of Aeronautics and the State Department of Education. <br /> In addition, the property owner should be aware of the potential need to file FAA Form 7460-1 <br /> entitled Notice of Proposed Construction or Alteration.
