I spoke to Quartaroli & Associates, telling them that <br /> Lima Ranch preferred to work out the issues directly with the landowner and avoid <br /> having to participate in the public process in a manner that is adverse to the Coldani <br /> interest. <br /> I was promised a return call but I was never contacted. This lack of cooperation forces <br /> the Lima Ranch to express their opposition to the proposal. It constitutes an inconsistent <br /> land use, will cause significant traffic circulation and congestion problems, and cause <br /> other environmental problems. In addition, based upon swom testimony by members <br /> of the Coldani family, the area is inappropriate for public gatherings due to the <br /> location of the dairy and City of Lodi sewer plant. <br /> The Lima Dairy expressly asks that this matter be referred to the planning commission for <br /> a noticed public hearing.
