The well water testing results included in the Addendum showed
nitrate in the well water at 36.8 mg/I. This result is over three times the maximum contaminate level
for nitrate and does not comply with this standard.
Please be advised that before food can be prepared and provided to the public, a source of potable
water that meets drinking water standards must be identified and approved. In addition, ongoing
routine water sampling and reporting is a condition of a food facility permit.
In addition, there are several other EHD project conditions of approval that must be met prior to the
issuance of any building permits. Please see attached for more information in these conditions.
If you have any questions please contact Michael Kith, REHS, Land Use Program Coordinator, at
(209) 468-3444 or mkith@sjgov.org.
Linda Turkatte, REHS
Director
C'.
