ATTACHMENT <br /> SPECIAL PURPOSE PLAN PP-98-3 <br /> 1. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT: (Staff Contact: Kerry Sulllivan, 468-3140) <br /> a. APPROVED USE: This approval is for the Special Purpose Plan as shown on the Plan <br /> submitted April 7, 1998. <br /> 2. DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS: (Staff Contact: Gabe Karam, 468-3023) <br /> a. All construction and striping details are subject to review and approval by the San Joaquin <br /> County Department of Public Works and/or the State Department of Transportation. <br /> b. A detail alignment plan for Star Street and Thornton Road extension with centerline and <br /> right-of-way data shall be prepared prior to any construction. <br /> c. New access point on SR 12, as shown on proposed Plan, shall be approved by the California <br /> transportation Commission. <br /> d. The abandonment of portions of the existing Thornton Road, as shown on the proposed plan, <br /> shall not be completed prior to the County accepting the new Thornton Road from SR 12 <br /> extending northerly to connect with the existing Thornton Road, and the portion of Star <br /> Street from SR 12 extend southerly to existing Thornton Road. <br /> 3. CALTRANS: (Staff Contact: Dana Cowell, 948-7142) <br /> a. A written agreement shall be prepared between Caltrans and San Joaquin County <br /> Department of Public Works specifying how traffic conditions at the northbound Thornton <br /> Road and State Route 12 intersection will be monitored and under what circumstances this <br /> moment would be closed, if necessary. <br /> PP983BAl <br />
