Thornton Road,Thornton <br /> The San Joaquin County Development Title Requirements listed below have been identified as <br /> pertinent to this project. Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A qualified environmental professional shall prepare a surface and subsurface contamination <br /> report, identifying any potential source of surface or subsurface contamination caused by past <br /> or current land uses. The report shall include evaluation of non-point source of hazardous <br /> materials, including agricultural chemical residues, as well as potential point sources, such as <br /> fuel storage tanks, septic systems, or chemical storage areas. If the report indicates there is <br /> contamination, corrective action shall be taken, as recommended in the report and concurred <br /> with by Environmental Health prior to issuance of the building permit (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-905.12(a)(c)). <br /> NOTE: <br /> A surface subsurface contamination report dated October 2, 2006 has been received. This <br /> report is required to be approved prior to recordation of Parcel Map/Certificate of <br /> Compliance. <br /> B. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study incorporating <br /> proposed staff and customer use, indicating that the area is suitable for septic system usage. <br /> This must be performed prior to recordation of Parcel Map (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$190.00 must be paid at time of <br /> submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$95.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> NOTE: <br /> A soil suitability study dated September 25, 2006 has been received. This report is required <br /> to be approved prior to recordation of Parcel Map/Certificate of Compliance. <br /> C. Construction of individual sewage disposal system(s)under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development(San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br />
