` October 2, 2006 <br /> NOA Project Number: E06102A <br /> This report was prepared for the exclusive use of Seigfried Engineering, Inc. and the San Joaquin <br /> 60 County Environmental Health Department(EHD)for the processing of a tentative map at San Joaquin <br /> County. This report is not equivalent to a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment and does not <br /> constitute"all appropriate inquiry into the previous ownership and uses of the property consistent with <br /> 6. good commercial or customary practice" (42 U.S.C. §9601). NOA specifically disclaims responsibility <br /> for any unauthorized use of this report. <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> /1.1 Description of Site <br /> r. <br /> The subject property is located at the southwest corner of Thornton Road and Midsection Street in <br /> Thornton, California. The property consists of a roughly triangular area approximately 6.66 acres in <br /> size. Two parcels(APN 001-150-55 and 001-150-56)makeup the property;these parcels have not been <br /> officially split. No address is associated with the subject property parcels. Five small cabins are located <br /> near the northwest corner of the property. <br /> ism <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site,' the subject <br /> property is zoned R-L(Low Density Residential)."This zone is intended to provide for neighborhoods <br /> L consisting of detached, single family residences located within or immediately adjacent to population <br /> centers which have public services." <br /> 6. Location maps of the subject property are attached to this report as Appendix A. Photographs of the <br /> subject property are attached to this report as Appendix B. <br /> �. /111.2 Proposed Development <br /> A tentative parcel map showing the proposed parcel division was provided to NOA by Siegfried <br /> low Engineering;the parcel division is depicted on the site map in Appendix A. Mr.Bill Koch of Siegfried <br /> Engineering was interviewed by telephone regarding the proposed uses of the property;he indicated <br /> that the property had recently been sold as two rural residential lots. However,it was determined after <br /> 6. the sale that the parcels had not been officially split.2 <br /> Marco Pires indicated that he plans to use the parcel for residential purposes.'
