The project shall be served by a public sewer collection and treatment system constructed in
conformance with the requirements of the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department and the Department of Public Works. A wastewater treatment plant study
acceptable to San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department and the Department of
Public Works is required prior to the approval of the improvement plans of any work within
the site. Applicant's site plan failed to show a proposed a septic system for this project.
Environmental Health Department cannot support an onsite septic system for this type of
high volume waste based on Environmental Health Department experience. In addition, PA-
02-247 has a similar proposal next door. Per the San Joaquin County Development Title,
Section 9-1105.7, this development will require a public wastewater disposal system.
B. Obtain discharge requirements from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board,
Central Valley Region, prior to development (Water Code, Article 5, Section 13280).
C. A State certified operator is required to operate the wastewater treatment plant with the
appropriate Grade level according to San Joaquin County regulations and state laws (San
Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.5).
D. Environmental Health Department requires connection to an approved public water supply
system (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1120.2). On an interim basis, the
water system may be privately operated, but it must be designed and constructed for
conversion to a public system and be operated by State-licensed personnel on the site. The
test well will be required to meet the following conditions:
