AOUACLEAR TECHNOLOGIES CORP. (ACT) NOTES A Brief Look Inside Our Company AquaClear Technologies is an environmental technology develop- ment corporation.Our entire staff is dedicated to making this world, our only world, a better place for all living things, today and for generations yet unborn. AquaClear specializes in the design of freshwater filtration systems and the design and manufacture of domestic, commercial waste- water treatment systems.We also provide industrial wastewater treat- ment systems through our sister company, AquaPura, located in Calgary,Alberta, Canada. AquaClear designs and engineers its waste treatment systems using the highest quality materials and components available. Each system is configured to the exact requirements of the individual application. Installation, assembly and customer training are under the supervi- sion of an ACT project manager, factory representative, or critically selected engineering firm, each of which has total project responsi- bility. This provides continuity through a single line of authority which assures the level of quality control required for the system to be designed right, manufactured right, installed right, and operated right. Why an AquaClear system? In 1980, as a result of an extensive study, the U.S. General Account- ing Office (GAO) reported that 87% of the 67 wastewater/sewage treatment systems examined were in violation of Federal Environ- mental Protection Agency (EPA) acceptable effluent standards. The cause: faulty design, poor construction, inadequate operator training and maintenance. We sincerely believe the success of our company will be assured only by offering quality services and products of lasting value which fill real needs, and by supporting our products/customers with integrity and dedication before and after sale. Only by adhering to this belief will we continue to avoid those problems uncovered by the GAO. ACT's fundamental goal is to repair (to the greatest extent possible) existing environmental damage and prevent future damage by pro- viding a source for state-of-the-art, environment-enhancing technolo- gies, hardware and service. To achieve this goal,ACT has selected as two of its primary project targets the siting, design, development and construction of fresh- water filtration systems and wastewater/sewage treatment facilities in support of small to medium-size land developments and recrea- tion-resort/RV park and mobile-home developments.
