Box 5125 <br /> Stockton, CA 95215-0125 <br /> RE: Wastewater Treatment and Reclamation System, Foster Freeze Facility <br /> (26444 North Thornton Road, Thornton) <br /> Environmental Health Division (EHD) staff has reviewed your Wastewater Treatment <br /> and Reclamation System Design Report and Specifications (Report), dated February <br /> 1995, for the Thornton Foster Freeze Facility. The Report is approved, and the waste <br /> water treatment system (system) may be installed, subject to the following conditions: <br /> (1) A sanitation permit. shall be obtained from EHD prior to <br /> beginning construction of the system. <br /> (2) A yearly: permit to operate a wastewater plant shall be <br /> obtained from EHD prior to beginning system operation. <br /> (3) In inclement weather, when no irrigation can be used, any <br /> excess effluent shall be removed by a licensed hauler and <br /> be taken to an approved facility. <br /> (4) The system shall be operated by person(s) trained in its <br /> proper use and having a state waste water license. <br /> (5) The system shall be operated to prevent a danger to the <br /> public health and the environment and to prevent <br /> nuisances. <br /> (6) The appropriate permit(s) shall be obtained from the <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central <br /> Valley Region, for the use of on-site polishing ponds. <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
