Make checks payable to the San Joaquin County Treasurer. • FORM One (1)completed copy of the application form (attached). • APPLICATION Staff will check-your application. (Your applipatioin cannot be rocessed until it is COMPLETE complete.) STEP 3 APPLICATION PROCESSING • CEQA If the proposed Time Extension is for a discretionary project it is subject to Environmental review. Projects that have the potential to adversely affect the environment will require the preparation of an EIR. • ACTION Time Extensions can only be granted by the review authority that approved the,original permit. If the permit was approved by the Planning Commission or Board of Supervisors a public hearing will be scheduled. If the staff approved your application a hearing will not be necessary unless the,staff s decision is appealed. At the conclusion of the public hearing (or staff review period)your request will be approved or denied. Actions of the staff or Planning Commission can be appealed. The action of the Board is final. • FINAL ACTION The staff will send you the.results of the final action. NOTE: Appeals shall be filed within ten (10)days of the date of action, and if filed stays any further action until final resolution of the appeal.
