• CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
In summary, the soil conditions in the percolation test locations appear to be suitable for
use with on-site septic systems. Satisfactory soil percolation rates of less than 4.1
min/in (Parcel 1), less than 5.0 min/in (Parcel 2), and less than 4.7 min/in (Parcel 3)
were observed in the test locations. No new construction is planned for the Site.
First ground water was encountered at approximately seven feet below ground surface
at each test location. The groundwater flow direction could not be calculated.
A water sample was collected from the domestic water well. Neither nitrate nor DBCP
was detected in the water sample.
We believe the Site suitable for the use of standard septic systems utilizing leach lines
or a filter bed.
•
•
LOGE 1523 Page 9
