January 13, 2006
San Joaquin County Com. Devel. Dept. ,AN 8 ZOU6
Development Serv. Division ung melitpept.
1810 E. Hazelton Ave. peve,oP
Stockton, CA 95205
Dear Mr. Funderburg,
My name is Nola Dunniway and I spoke to you on 12/29/05 regarding Application
Numer PA-0300573(GP PA-0500807(ZR). I expressed my concern that once an
application is approved those who have land will want to develop as soon as they can. I
realized this is only a request for a zone reclassification, but if one has the intention to
build he will not wait long to make money.
My first concern is prime farmland being eaten up by developers, the Environmental
impact, the added traffic and noise, and water. New residences have been careless and
now our area is being put on a sewer system.
I live two blocks off Hwy. 88 and the noise level has increased triple in the last five
years. Gas fumes are at a higher level and that odder is penetrating our homes.
Lockeford is not the only town expanding on this Hwy. I do not want to see Hwy. 88 in
the same shape as 205 with congestion beyond endurance.
I hope you will consider the incredible fertile farmland that is rapidly vanishing in this
area because once you change it we cannot go back.
?NYIaL.
,
unniway
