V■ ■�I L�IY ■ AI\1■ IV Y1 <br /> Memorandum <br /> To: Development Services, Ray Hoo Date: 09/23/2004 <br /> (Contact person) <br /> From: Fire Prevention, Steve Dalton D.C.Date: 08/24/2004 <br /> (Contactpeason) <br /> Subject: PA-0400425 <br /> (ming application referral number) <br /> Project Summary: private Right of Way for 5 lots in an antiquated subdivision apn: 021-03045,26174 N.Tully Road. <br /> Clements FD. <br /> The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be <br /> incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit. <br /> ❑ a. ❑ The Fire Prevention Division has reviewed this application and there does not appear to be any major problems <br /> associated with the proposed project as submitted. <br /> ❑ A complete review at building permit submittal will require compliance with applicable codes and ordinances. <br /> EJ b. Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of: <br /> ❑ 1.)Appendix ID-A and III-B of the Califomia Fire Code. <br /> EJ 2-)NFPA 1142 of the National Fire Code. <br /> C. Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code and the appropriate standards <br /> and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> 0 d Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902-2 of the California Fire Code and the standard <br /> adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> ❑ e- This planning application will require a fire access road to be completed before the County Surveyors office will file the <br /> map for record.Please contact Fire Prevention at 209468-3380 to schedule an inspection of the completed road. <br /> ® f- This project will potentially serve more than three residences and shall comply with the San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title Standard 9-1150.18,Standards for This project Road Names and Road Name Changes,Public <br /> and Private. Please contact the Community Development Department at 468-2193 to complete this process prior <br /> to requesting Fire Department approval. <br /> LJ 9- Key Boxes:A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's instructions. <br /> ❑ h Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Standard 10-1 of Volume 2. <br /> ❑ i. Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or property <br /> C.F.C. 105.2.1 <br /> j- Mechanical refrigeration systems shall comply with all applicable codes(ammonia,etc.). <br /> Other: Submitted map does not indicate that existing roads have a name or comply with fire access road standards for width, <br /> compaction,or surface requirements.Please provide prior to issuance of new building permits. <br />
