I am a 66 year old retired San Joaquin County employee of 34 years. My wife Vincene and I
are Stocktonians and we love to dance. Unfortunately, there are very few venues that offer dancing in San
Joaquin County. Looking back over my 44 years of residency in this county, many venues that offered dancing were"closed"
by gang and/or other"riff-raff'violence.
Abundance Vineyards was voted"2010 Winery of the Year" by the Visit Lodi Confefence and Visitors Bureau It is a safe
and sane venue that offers a place to picnic and dance,as well as have a glass of wine.
How can VIsItLodi be so incorrect? How many have complained? Hundreds and hundreds of people have attended events
at Abundance without complaint. In these rough economic times,we need all the small businesses we can muster and
support. Please do not add San Joaquin County to the list of entities that stifle small business and/or close successful
venues.
Please listen to those that support Abundance Vineyards and the Mencarini Family.
Sincerely,
Bruce&Vincene Stanfield
7404 Lighthouse Drive
Stockton CA 95219-4561
(209)952-6540
` 1 of] 12/16/2010 8:20 AM
l
