The samples were then transported on ice and remanded
E
under chain of custody to FGL Environmental in Stockton, California.
1.4G6Chain of Custody
The Chain of Custody document has been included in the appendix of this report.
1.Soil Profile and Geologic Information
The Site is depicted on the California Geologic Survey Map of the San Francisco-San Jose
Quadrangle as within the Quaternary Modesto Formation (Plate 5). The Quaternary Modesto
Formation (undifferentiated) is unit of undifferentiated alluvial deposits, mainly arkosic, forming
the toe of the Mokeiumne alluvial fan, generally covered by 0.3 to 1.0 m of Holocene intertidal
deposits.
The surface and near surface soils located at the Site are reported by the San Joaquin County
Soil Survey to be composed of Tokay fine sandy loam, 0-2% slopes (Plate 6) (USDA, 1992).
The table below presents some selected properties of these soils:
Table 1
San Joaquin County Soil Survey
Elected Soil Properties of On-Site Soils
Soil.NameSoil Perme- Septic tank
and Ma Depth Unified Soil Salinity
p in classification mmhos/cm .Reaction ability, absorption
Symbol ( }
pH : (In/hr) fields. ,.
0-19 Fine sandy loam; SM <2 6.1-7.8 2,0-6.0
Tokay fine 19-45 Fine sandy loam, sandy <2 6.1-7.8 2,0-6.0
sandy loam, loam; SM
0-2 % slope Slight
256 45-60 Fine sandy loam, sandy <2 6.1-8.4 2.0-6.0
loam coarse sandy loam;
SM
Note: The table descriptions do not necessarily reflect site-specific soil properties.
*See description of the map unit for composition and behavior characteristics of the map unit.
f
902 Industrial Way- Lodi,CA 95240-209.367.3701 -Fax 209.369.4228 ©2008 Neil a Anderson&Associates,Inc
