Chapter 6 of the RCMP describes the updated
Land Use Analysis Program, including Tier 1 and Tier 2 review/analysis requirements, analysis
methods, impact significance criteria, and mitigation.
SJCOG determined that this project does not meet the Tier 2 threshold; thus, no further
information is required at this time.
AIRPORT LAND USE COMMISION'S REVIEW
This project is not located within any airport influence area,as identified in the 2018 San Joaquin
County Airport Land Use Compatibility Plan (ALUCP) (https://www.sicog.org/ALUC). However;
FAA Advisory Circular (AC) 150/5200-33b defines agricultural activities as a potential wildlife
attractant and recommends a minimum distance of 5 miles between an airport. The project is
located approximately 4.90 miles from Lodi Airport, 3.80 miles from Kingdon Airpark, and 4.20
miles from Lodi Airpark.
Although the project is outside the AIA and thus not under the jurisdiction of the ALUC, due to
the presence of potential wildlife attractants within 5 miles of multiple airports, SJCOG
recommends the project applicant contact the following for their assessment of the project:
