We do have picnic tables in our oak <br /> grove available to customers of the Winery. <br /> 19. How many cases of wine will be available for sale at this event? <br /> The amount stored on-site is always available for sale. <br /> 20. What percent of wine served at the events will be from the host winery? Will other beverages <br /> be served? If so, what kind? What percent of beverages served at the event will be wine <br /> from the host winery? <br /> 100%of the wine served will by from our Winery. The only other beverages served <br /> would be sodas and water. The caterer may also serve soda or water with their food. <br /> C. SPECIAL EVENTS Please describe the purpose of each Special Event and include answers <br /> to the following questions: <br /> 1. Purpose: <br /> The purpose of our Special Events is to serve as the primary fundraiser for The Lodi <br /> House, a temporary women and children shelter(and possibly a second fundraiser once <br /> we find another good community cause). Each year we will hold the event(s)titled <br /> "Harvest in the Grove." It will include wine tasting of Jessie's Grove Winery wines only, <br /> live music, restaurants/caterers, silent auctions and raffles. <br /> 2. How frequently will the event occur(times per year); <br /> Each of the two events will be scheduled to occur once each year. <br /> 3. What is the estimated attendance(expressed as a numerical range and an average number); <br /> 300—350, averaging 300 people <br /> 4. What are the anticipated hours of the event; <br /> 3 PM-6PM <br /> 5. Will there be amplified sound and will it be indoors, outdoors,or both;and, <br /> Amplified outdoor music. <br /> 6. Will this be a for profit or a nonprofit event? <br /> The Winery is expected to make a small profit on wine sales, though a percentage of the <br /> Winery's sales proceeds are passed through to the Lodi House. The Winery grounds are <br /> used for the fundraiser at no cost including all Winery staff volunteering their time. The <br /> Lodi House was able to raise over$44,000 in two such events at the Winery. <br /> FOOD SERVICE Please describe the food service for each Special Event including: <br /> 1. What type of food will be served; <br /> The restaurants involved are asked to choose foods that will pair with particular wines <br /> that are being poured during the event. Wine tasting is a critical component of the <br /> event's experience. <br /> 2. Will the food be prepared on-site or off-site; <br /> The food is prepared by the restaurant/caterer off-site, though some will use a Bar-B-Q to <br /> complete the preparation on-site(using their personal/commercial Bar•B-Q). <br /> 3. Are there any existing or proposed kitchen equipment and eating areas(Please indicate both <br /> indoor and outdoor assembly areas on the Improvement Plan site plan);and, <br /> There is no existing or proposed kitchen equipment;there do exist picnic tables in the oak <br /> grove,and tables are set-up for these events around the Tasting Room and next to each <br /> restaurant serving their food. <br /> 4. How many cases of wine will be available for sale at this event? <br />
