%W
%W FALL CREEK
REPORT OF WASTE DISCHARGE RNGINF.F.RTNG.TNC:.
%w year 1978 through 2002 (years 1981 and 82 were not included due to incomplete data sets for
these years). Using this data set,FCE calculated the average monthly rainfall (18.1 in/yr) and
performed a statistical analysis, using the Gaussian probability density function and exceedance
probability, to determine the 100-year annual rainfall return(33 in/yr). The projected 100-year
annual rainfall return is similar to rainfall that occurred in water year 1998, the actual wettest
year in this record(32.4 in/yr). FCE then calculated the monthly runoff volumes from the
_ winery facility for average and 100-year annual rainfall years under current and future facility
configurations. The results of these storm water calculations are shown in Table 3.3.
%W
Table 3.3. They show that from November through May storm water runoff is the main
source of wastewater at the Winery. From June through October, the process wastewater is the
main source of wastewater. With the current expansion production level, storm water runoff in
%W the average rainfall year represents approximately 72% of the total annual wastewater discharged
`r to the wetland. In a 100-year annual rainfall year, storm water runoff represents approximately
%W 82% of annual wastewater flow. With projected wastewater flow rates and facility configuration
`w under the 10-yr plan, the storm water discharged to the wetland would be 53% and 68% of the
total volume of water discharged to the wetland during average and 100-year annual rainfall
`- years, respectively.
JESSIE'S GROVE WINERY 8 FEBRUARY 2004
