UNIFORM FIRE CODE: The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance Code requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a <br /> building permit. <br /> (1) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of the <br /> following: <br /> (a) Appendix III-A and III-B of the California Fire Code. <br /> (b) NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code. <br /> (2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with section 902.2 of the California <br /> Fire Code and the standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs <br /> Association. <br /> (3) Key Boxes: A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's <br /> instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Standard <br /> 10-1 of Volume 2. <br /> (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life <br /> or property C.F.C. 105.2.1. <br /> (6) Mechanical refrigeration systems shall comply with all applicable codes (ammonia, etc.). <br /> I. UNIFORM BUILDING CODE: The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin <br /> County Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the <br /> construction plans before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> (1) Provide parking for the physically disabled.
