Other requirements may also apply. These <br /> requirements cannot be modified. <br /> A. A soil suitability study/nitrate loading study for dairy/animal waste indicating that <br /> the area is suitable for the usage number of animals proposed must be performed <br /> prior to issuance of building permits as required by Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San <br /> 1/77 y Joaquin County Development Title. A nitrate loading study is required and a <br /> review fee of$445.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health <br /> Division. Applicant needs to complete application by declaring how many cows, <br /> heifers, and calves are existing and proposed for this dairy site. <br /> NOTE: The initial study was submitted on July 18, 2000, to Environmental Health <br /> Division; however Environmental Health Division has not completed its review and <br /> approval. <br /> B. The number of dairy animals per acre shall not exceed an amount, which would <br /> preclude good waste management practices. Applicant is to contact the Central , <br /> Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board regarding filing a Waste <br /> Management Report to be approved by Central Valley Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board and the Environmental Health Division prior to final occupancy <br /> approval (Porter-Cologne Water Quality Control Act, Chapter 4, Article 4, <br /> Section 13260-13263). <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services <br />
