The site consist of two parcels,both located in an area of <br /> high water table. Prior to beginning the testing the water table was determined to be 6 feet below <br /> natural grade. (Requirement is 7 feet). Discussion with Steve Shia and others, of the <br /> Environmental Health Department, a Percolation Test would be made and the depth would be <br /> determined by the Civil Engineer. <br /> INTRODUCTION&PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> The Tentative Parcel Map shows Parcel I to contain 41 acres and Parcel 2 contains 41 acres, �j <br /> final Certificate of Compliance. <br /> ±No pment is anticipated by the owner. See Ljqq�tion Map on TM. <br /> SP► pe vineyard exists on bothparcels. There are no ells, <br /> structures, drives, septic systems, <br /> large-trees, pastures,pools etc. A slough exists on the south and east boundaries. <br /> PRESENT AND PAST USES OF THE SITE SECTION <br /> A grape vineyard is producing grape nZother uses. <br /> EXISTING AND PRO SED SEPTIC TANK USAGE SECTION <br /> There i�no evelopment other than agric on the two parcels. Water is pumped from the <br /> Mokel e <br /> ver for irrigation. There i o roposed septiptank usage, A flood zone exists <br /> showing flooding elevation of 12 feet abd)VrAea level. Onl� ne�esidence exists in the area and is <br /> south of the study site and separated by the slough, (Canal). <br /> No SOIL PROFILE INFORMATION SECTION <br /> it <br /> was dug. The 6"test holes were augured by hand. The top I foot of soil was compacted. <br /> so <br /> il between I foot and a depth of 4 feet was silty sandy clay.At a depth of 5 feet moisture <br /> was observed in tl"Cavated material and at 6 feet blue clay was saturated. A mound system <br /> would be required pits are permitted in the area. <br /> PERCOLATION TEST INFORMATION SECTION <br /> The location of test holes are shown on the TPM. The schematic detail is show i._06y-shallow <br /> holes were used. The holes were prepared on Oct. 28 and the presoak began on Oct-31The tests <br /> were conducted on 11/I/ 11. The holes were dry at the end of presoak. The test conformed to <br /> SJC Policy EHD 02-02, No pits are permitted in this high water table area <br />
