The ranch has three poultry houses 38,000 square feet that <br /> will be used to raise the chickens. <br /> M <br /> Manure Management: The chickens will be reared on litter floors. During the rearing <br /> period'the litter will be topped as necess <br /> pp - ary to remove any wet spots. Wet spots and fly <br /> production will be prevented by frequently checking the water <br /> system to assure there are <br /> no leaks. Leaks will be promptly corrected. Watering devices will be moved as practical— <br /> to prevent build up of wet manure.in adjacent areas. The litter and manure will be <br /> removed from the houses after each group of chickens is sold or when clean out is desired <br /> by management for hygienic reasons. It will be removed from the premise within 7 days <br /> of cleanout as required by County regulations or stored inside unused chickens houses. <br /> Records: Records will be kept of individuals who take/buy manure. This will include an l <br /> address and phone number for each manure hauler/customer. Manure haulers/customers <br /> will be'.'instructed that the manure must be applied at appropriate rates and incorporated <br /> into soil within 24 hours of land application if the site is within San Joaquin County. <br /> If manure is applied on the ranch site it must be applied at rates a0propriate for the crop <br /> to be grown and,incorporated into soil within 24 hours: ` <br /> F <br /> I <br />
