Veritas;Rd:, Manteca] <br /> Dear Ms:King: <br /> The excavation plan submitted for the subject property has been reviewed as it relates to the <br /> operation and maintenance of District faclities.within the proposed excavation area. <br /> There are typically several items of concern to the District when excavations of this nature take place <br /> near District facilities. In an effort to help address some of these concerns, it is requested that, as <br /> condition of approval, the applicant be required to submit the excavation plan, showing all District <br /> easements, to the South San Joaquin Irrigation District's Board of Directors for their approval and <br /> signature. <br /> Furthermore, in order to comply with certain requirements which have generally been considered <br /> acceptable standards with regard to excavations, it is requested that the following notes be added to <br /> the excavation plans prior to submittal: <br /> 1- The landowner agrees not to perform any excavation or grading within the S.S.].I.D. <br /> casement or within 15 feet of the centerline of;he pipeline. whichever is greater. <br /> Excavations adjacent to District easements and/6r facilities shall have a minimum 3:1 <br /> slope from the excavated field to the top of the berm. <br /> l " <br /> P 0.
