Suite A, Sacramento,California 95827 <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> concerning <br /> CEASE AND DESIST ORDER and <br /> CALIFORNIA WATER CODE SECTION 13308 ORDER <br /> for .. <br /> MUSCO OLIVE PRODUCTS AND THE STUDLEY COMPANY <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> Musco Olive Products and the Studley Company(Discharger) operate an olive processing and <br /> canning facility at 17950 Via Nicolo, Tracy in San Joaquin County. The Discharger has failed to <br /> make improvements to the wastewater treatment system and is operating the wastewater system <br /> in violation of Waste Discharge Requirements Order No. 97=037 and Cleanup and Abatement <br /> Order No. 5-00-717. The Regional Board will consider a Cease and Desist Order and a <br /> California Water Code Section 13308 Order. <br /> A formal public hearing concerning this matter will be held during the Regional Board meeting <br /> which is scheduled for: <br /> DATE: 25 January 2002 <br /> TIME: 8:30 am <br /> PLACE: Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> I 3443 Routier Road, Suite A <br /> Sacramento, CA 95827 <br /> The designated parties for this hearing are as follows: <br /> • Staff of Central Valley Regional Board <br /> • Musca Olive Products and The Studley Company <br /> h <br /> I Only designated parties will have these rights: to call and examine witnesses; to introduce <br /> exhibits; to cross-examine opposing witnesses; to impeach any witness; and to rebut the evidence <br /> against him or her. All other persons wishing to testify or provide comments are interested <br /> persons and not designated parties. Such interested persons may request status as a designated <br /> party for purposes of this hearing by submitting such request in writing to the Board no later than <br /> 18 January 2002. The request must explain the basis for status as a designated party and in <br /> particular how the person is directly affected by the discharge. <br /> Persons wishing to comment on this noticed hearing item must submit testimony, evidence, <br /> and/or comments in writing to the Regional Board no later than 18 January 2002. Written <br /> testimony, evidence, or comments submitted after 18 January 2002 will not be accepted <br /> and will not be incorporated into the administrative record if doing so would prejudice any <br /> Parh'. <br />
