Existing facilities.include 264,000 <br /> square feet of warehouse, a 43,200-square-foot processing building, an 8,500-square-foot office building, <br /> approximately 5 acres of tank farm, and approximately 12 acres of processing ponds. Proposed facilities <br /> include a 6-acre concrete slab for additional olive storage tanks and a 12-acre retention pond for the <br /> storage of olive process waste water. The Regional Water Quality Control Board has stated that the pond <br /> is required for the existing wastewater flow rate. The applicant has stated that no new employees will be <br /> required for this project. The applicant expects to utilize 132 employees, which is the same number that <br /> was indicated in approved Use Permit No. UP-99-16. <br /> Recommendation <br /> Approval.
