INTRODUCTION <br /> Our office was retained Musco Olive Products,Inc. c/o FoodPro International.Inc. to <br /> ` conduct,a Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study for a property located at 17950 Via Nicolo., j <br /> 'Tracy, California(Plate 1).• The Assessors Parcel'Number of the property(APN) is 209-110-04. <br /> 'The Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study was conducted to determine if the area is <br /> suitable for a new septic system and leach lines. The study was rperformed according to the <br /> requirements'of Secti6n.9-1105.2(d) ofthe,San Joaquin County Development. Major elements.of <br /> the.field work included one (1) exploratory soil boring, one(1) groundwater nitrafe test, and one j <br /> (1)in-situ percolation test An examination of the field work results, nitrate loading analysis, <br /> review of published soil information, geologic,maps, and available ground water information was <br /> used to estimate suitabilityof soilsand the potential impact of the septic system to the ground <br /> _ <br /> water. This.report presents the results of our study_ <br /> II. PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> The Musco.Olive Plant is on.a 126.35acre parcel (Plate 1),located east of Interstate 580 <br /> and south of Patterson Pass Road at the south end of Via Nicolo,Road, Tracyy, The Musco Olive <br /> Products plant processes_©live food products:''With a planned plant expansion, it is our <br /> J <br /> understanding that some parts of the existing.septic system need to be relocated and.the septic <br /> systems capacity is to be increased. Two existing'leach fields and one septic tank are planned to <br /> be abandoned in accordance with Sail Joaquin County requirements. One existing 1600 gallon <br /> septic tank will remain and reused. A new leach field area and 4000 gallon septic tank are to be <br /> added and used in conjunction with the existing septic tank connectedby a sewer line(Plate 2). <br /> .'. The proposed system design will utilize both septic tanks in parallel and will.connect to a new <br /> leach field consisting of shallow leach lines with dry wells on the end. <br />
