The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability indicatingthat the area is <br /> suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of deed or record i <br /> of survey (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(4)). A review fee of <br /> $186.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of R <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal i <br /> system is required for each parcel. A'permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall.be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of deed or record of survey. Samples are to be <br /> taken <br /> and <br /> analyzed by aState-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, ' <br /> Section 9-1115.7). <br /> C. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-system(s) under permit and inspection by the a <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability findings (San Joaquin Cou`iaty Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 &9-1110.4). <br /> D.
