The Reclamation District is also responsible for <br /> the agricultural and storm water drainage of the 10,000 acre tract. The preapplication referral <br /> transmitted to the Reclamation District was reviewed and discussed by the Board of Trustees of <br /> Reclamation District 348. <br /> Please be advised that Trustees are concerned that the development of such a business <br /> complex proposed by the applicant could result in the degradation of storm water runoff in the <br /> District's drainage system. The Trustees understand that the applicant will be required to <br /> comply with numerous State and County regulatory requirements which may alleviate their <br /> concerns. However, the Trustees are requesting that the District be kept advised throughout the <br /> permitting process so that they can be assured that degradation of storm water runoff in the <br /> District maintained drainage canals will not be allowed to occur as result of this project. <br /> I trust this will satisfy your current needs regarding Reclamation District 348 concerns <br /> with regard to the proposed development project. <br /> Very truly yours, <br /> JAMES C.
