The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability indicating that the area is <br /> suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of deed or record <br /> of survey (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of <br /> $186.00 must beai <br /> p d at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards s of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> NOTE: The Environmental Health Department has no permit on record for the septic system on <br /> Parcel#4. Prior to recordation of deed or record.of survey, evidence shall be proved to <br /> the Environmental Health Department that the proposed property line meets the <br /> distance requirements of the San Joaquin County Sewage Standards. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of deed or record of survey. Samples are to be <br /> taken and analyzed by a State-approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1115.7). <br /> C. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil <br /> Suitability findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). <br /> D. Construction of individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development (San Joaquin <br /> County Development Title, Section 9-1115.3). <br /> MH:cf <br />
